A Bit About Me

Irvin Ngariman is a freelance photographer and photojournalist working with a daily newspaper in Suriname’s capital, Paramaribo. He has worked for DWT Publishing for over 10 years, and has been the paper’s sole full-time photojournalist for the last 2 years. During Irvin's travels into the interior of Suriname, he has captured photographs and raised awareness of the living conditions of the nation’s indigenous Maroon communities and related social issues. Irvin is a social media influencer, sharing food and travel content with his audience.
