A Bit About Me

Danil Usmanov is a young documentary photographer from Kyrgyzstan. He studied Telecommunication at Kyrgyz State University of Culture and Art and took classes in photojournalism and documentary photography at DocDocDoc School of Modern Photography in Saint Petersburg. Danil graduated from "Art East" school of contemporary art in 2017. He studied in Nikon-NOOR Academy in 2021.

Danil has participated in various international exhibitions. He was awarded first prize in the Vilnius Photo Festival in 2017 and the special prize of the Bishkek First April Competition in 2017. In 2018, he won the "Umut (hope)" prize in Documentary photography in the VI Forum Umut contest.
